1877 Indian Head Penny
For all you Indian Head Penny collectors. I just wanted to share an exceptional experience I had seeing a 1877 Indian Head Penny MS-66 RD. It belongs to Rick Snow and is valued at $175,000.00. I don’t mean to brag, but what a once in a life time experience. I have read some of Rick’s books and he seems like a very humble guy who has really done well for himself. Also while I was sitting there I saw a very rare copper-nickel out of date Indian. It was 1880 something very worn and very exciting considering 1880’s Indians were struck only in bronze. I expect it to appear in some magazine down the road so keep your eye’s peeled. This Indian was kind of like the 1943 Lincoln Copper Penny finds. I did realize this was a seemingly once and a life time opportunity. I am passing all of this along to continue to spark the interest that I believe unfound rare and interesting coins are still out there somewhere and even though some of us may never own the rarest of coins. We can dream. Thanks for reading.
